This stunning antique vase was made in Japan. Dating from around 1905, it carries the I E and C mark which predates Noritake and Nippon. I E and C china is highly collected, as it is quite scarce and not a lot is known about the origins. This large urn shaped vase is just beautiful. It is fully hand painted, and has extensive moriage decoration. It is in fantastic order, with just a small porcelain lump inside the neck, and a couple of tiny pin point sized spots of missing decoration and paint. It measures 14cm from handle to handle and 24cm in total height.
