This stunning paperweight is just gorgeous. It has a central date of 1863. Some say this is the date of manufacture, however after much research, Ive been able to find that a large number of dated paperweights were manufactured in Venice in the 1970’s, for the American market, so I believe this is probably one of those. It measures 7cm diameter and 4.5cm in height. With beautiful canes in green, red and mauve, it is in excellent condition.
