A lot of china collections would have started with one or two lovely vintage trios, or at least a cup and saucer. Mine is no exception. While browsing at an auction one day, I spotted this lovely pair of cups and saucers. I had no idea what brand they were, only that they were in my favourite dark sage green colour, with a white interior, and lovely floral gilding. I bid on them and won them. Took them home and gave them a wash, they were filthy, and then I could see just how lovely they really were. They turned out to be Aynsley duos, and my collection and my passion for vintage china grew from there. I have learned much since then, and many items have been bought and sold, but my Aynsley duos are still the centrepiece of my collection.
