Description
This superb figurine comes from Royal Crown Derby. It features the ‘tall’ peacock, sitting on an urn full of hand made and hand painted flowers, and richly gilt. It is just stunning, with more and more detail everywhere you look. The tail of the peacock has masses of gold. It dates to 1991, and is in good order, these are often easily damaged, with chips to just four leaves that I can see. Amazingly, the fragile flowers on top of the urn all seem to be intact. It measures 15cm wide at the base, 24cm in height, and displays beautifully as you can see. It is signed to the base by the artists.
