Description
This stunning little plate is just gorgeous. Hand thrown and painted by Peter Minko in 1997, it comes from the China Painters association of Victoria. Peter is a renowned potter from Myrtleford who studied in Bendigo. This gorgeous plate features his trademark tangled flora and gumnuts, with heavily gilt accents. The painting is superb, and it is signed to the back. It was featured in an exhibition in 2004, and has a bio of the artist and a picture of the vase, in the hard backed catalogue. Pictures included for reference however the catalogue is not included in this sale. The plate measures 16cm diameter, and is in perfect condition. Also included is the aluminium plaque used at the exhibition.
