Description
This stunning plate is from Royal Doulton and dates to 1924. Hand painted by Doulton artist Harry Morrey, who worked there from 1884 to 1944, it features a farmer bringing home the cows, and is signed. The rim is highly detailed with gilt lattice, raised dots and hand painted floral swags. It measures 26.7cm diameter, and is in superb condition for 97 years old, with just light wear to the gilding on the base ring at the back.
