Description
This stunning, antique, Royal Doulton mug is a rare find. From the coaching days series, not only does it have the very highly sought after blue sky, but it also features a very rare image where no coach is present, just travelers on the road. It dates to around 1905, and is in terrific condition for 121 years old. There are no chips or cracks, and no visible crazing. There are some fine scratches to the gentleman’s red coat and light wear to the green enameling on the rim. It measures 7.7cm diameter at the base and 7cm in height. It would be a superb addition to a coaching days collection.
