Description
This superb tab handled cake plate comes from Aynsley, and dates to the the late 20’s, early 30’s. It features a cobalt blue ground, with hand accented panels of fruits and flowers, and has hand applied gilding with masses of all over tiny gilt flowers. It is in very good order with just a couple of very light utensil marks, and the gilding is pristine. It measures 21.5cm wide and 25cm in length.
