Description
This gorgeous teaset comes from John Maddock and Sons in England. Consisting of a teapot, a sugar bowl with lid, and a creamer, it is from their ‘thatched cottage’ range. It dates to the 1940’s. All pieces are in lovely condition and appear to have never been used. The only issue is the odd tiny ash spot in the glaze, and the odd tiny white spot of missing paint on the roofs. The handles are formed as trees or thick vines, and the hand painted detail is just lovely. The teapot measures 23.5cm from spout to handle and 13cm in height. The sugar bowl is 15cm from handle to handle and 9.8cm in height. And the creamer is 15cm from spout to handle and 8cm in height.
