For those of you who follow my blog here at All Things Vintage, you will no doubt know of my passion for the history of the Royals of England from Queen Victoria back, and also my love of Royal Crown Derby China, especially paperweights. We were lucky enough to attend an auction on the weekend, and I was so excited to ‘win’ for my own collection, a beautiful Royal China mug with a facsimile signature of Queen Victoria, and also a couple of gorgeous paperweights. You should have seen me doing the happy dance! I also picked up a couple of extra paperweights surplus to my own collection, so I will be listing these for sale over the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, coming up this week, we do have some other gorgeous pieces. Firstly for the T G Green Cornish ware collectors, we have a superb large jug in the cloverleaf colorway. For the lovers of Royal Albert we have a stunning floral basket with dogwood roses. We also have a superb little Buckingham palace trinket box from 1996, and a gorgeous Colclough trio. And lastly for the art glass collectors, a superb large shell in aqua green from the Aussie studio of Meg Caslake and David Pedler.
